Training Courses
Tactical Operators Course
Designed for law enforcement tactical personnel operating in high-risk environments, the Tactical Operators Course develops both foundational and advanced skills necessary for effective team operations.
Students are challenged through practical exercises and realistic scenarios designed to strengthen firearms proficiency, movement, communication, decision-making, teamwork, and tactical problem-solving. The goal is to develop capable operators while improving team cohesion, safety, and overall operational effectiveness.
Close Quarters Battle (CQB)
The Close Quarters Battle Course provides intensive training for personnel who may be required to operate within confined spaces and complex structures.
Students develop a greater understanding of movement, communication, decision-making, threat identification, and coordinated team operations within close-quarters environments. Practical exercises and realistic scenarios are used to reinforce concepts and evaluate performance in dynamic situations.
Patrol CQB
Critical incidents do not always allow officers the luxury of waiting for additional resources.
The Patrol CQB Course is designed for patrol officers, school resource officers, and other first responders who may be required to take immediate action during an active threat or rapidly developing incident. Training focuses on improving movement, situational awareness, threat prioritization, decision-making, and the ability to operate effectively while working independently in a high-stress environment.

Low-Light CQB
Operating in reduced visibility introduces challenges that require specialized preparation and sound decision-making. The Low-Light CQB Course develops the skills necessary to safely and effectively operate in dark or limited-visibility environments. Students work on light management, threat identification, communication, movement, decision-making, and the effective use of handheld and weapon-mounted lighting systems.
Training incorporates realistic scenarios designed to reinforce performance when visibility is limited.
Vehicle CQB
Vehicles present unique challenges during law enforcement operations, protective assignments, and critical incidents.
The Vehicle CQB Course provides practical training focused on operating safely and effectively in and around vehicles. Students develop a better understanding of positioning, movement, communication, threat response, decision-making, and coordinated team operations within vehicle-based environments.
Scenario-driven training helps students apply these concepts to realistic situations.
High-Threat Vehicle Operations
Designed for law enforcement personnel, the High-Threat Vehicle Stops Course addresses encounters involving potentially violent, armed, or high-risk subjects. Students receive practical instruction focused on officer positioning, communication, coordination, suspect management, decision-making, and effective team response.
Realistic scenarios challenge officers to apply sound tactics while maintaining control, communication, and awareness throughout rapidly changing situations.
Hostage Rescue Operations
Hostage situations represent some of the most complex and demanding incidents tactical personnel may encounter. The Hostage Rescue Response Course provides specialized training for law enforcement personnel tasked with responding to high-risk hostage situations. Students work through realistic training environments designed to strengthen communication, coordination, decision-making, threat assessment, and team performance.
The course challenges students to effectively operate during rapidly evolving incidents where precision, discipline, and teamwork are critical.

Active Threat Response
Active violence incidents develop rapidly and require individuals and organizations to understand how to respond when seconds matter. ARK Training Group offers Active Threat Response training tailored to the needs of law enforcement, church security, organizations, and responsible citizens. Training emphasizes threat recognition, situational awareness, emergency response principles, communication, decision-making, casualty-care considerations, and appropriate actions during critical incidents. Course content and training objectives are adapted to the responsibilities & capabilities of each audience.
Home Defense
Protecting your home begins long before an emergency occurs.
The Home Defense Course helps responsible citizens develop a practical approach to protecting themselves and their families. Training addresses home security planning, defensive preparedness, situational awareness, family emergency planning, responsible firearm considerations, low-light environments, use of cover, and important considerations surrounding lawful self-defense.
Students leave with a greater understanding of how preparation, planning, and training can improve their ability to respond during a serious threat within the home.
